Low framerate compensation for Freesync!

Awesome, looks like a whole lot more than just a UI refresh. I don't normally believe AMD's internal "optimistic" goals, but in the last few months they really have been stepping up their driver game. The RTG split may just have really worked. I have never thought AMD's drivers were bad (but I didn't use ATi except for a 9700 Pro which I loved) but they were somewhat inconsistent. This seems to be stepping it up

Looks like Raja is just getting started. The improvements are significant. Freesync with LFC, Frame rating improvements, FRTC. Now we need sites to review how much the user experience is improving. Hopefully Raja can deliver with Arctic Islands. Thats what matters for consumers and for good competition in GPU market.

"AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition Display Driver version 15.30.1025"

The name seems a little too short.

what a fail, the old ccc is still there if you hit additional settings. wtf AMD?
unless im doing something wrong but all the cool shit isnt available on my carrizo laptop, I cant even change my desktop resolution from crimson...puzzling.

The new Shader Cache feature must be my favourite. Faster load times for all games across the board? Holy cow. All that time I thought load times were basically SSD + CPU bottlenecked but the fact that game shaders need to be compiled on launch can slow down loading... 😵

And this: http://anandtech.com/show/9811/amd-crimson-driver-overview/3

Dare I say it, the new and improved Freesync is now superior to Gsync in how it handles below the min supported Hz. Free better than paid? Woah...

Just installed it. Frustrating! Cant find any control options or anything looking like a control panel for my A10 6800k!

The only thing this seems to have installed is the Gaming Evolved app :\
Am I missing something?

r_click the desktop > radeon settings?

There's no driver install, all this installs is the HDMI audio driver and QuickStream. Windows is running some default driver, I uninstalled that. Tried to reinstall these new ones and again, no option for an actual video driver, just HDMI Audio and QuickStream. Now Im enjoying lovely 800x600 res.. uck
Guess I'll roll back to a driver that actually installs =(

this might sound silly but did you check all the components when it was installing?

AMD APU series codenamed "Kaveri", "Godavari" and "Carrizo" are only supported by AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition .. OH this is why
No love for Richland. Well holy crap this blows. Back to an older driver I guess.

And yes I have tried installing all the components. There's simply no actual driver for my Richland 6800k =(

They released a one off beta for the pre gcn stuff. Select the right product on the driver page and that driver should work.
