ETA on Gainward GeForce4 PowerPack! Ultra/750XP (Dual DVI)

My friend (who also ordered the 750 from United Micro) called me last night, and said that United Micro had called him to make sure he still wanted his video card. It seems that United Micro got way more orders than they got cards, so they wanted to make sure he wanted it.

I'm going to call them today to make sure they don't cancel my order. That would send me through the roof! I want this card so bad I can taste it. I'm upgrading from an Asus 7700 Deluxe (Geforce 2 GTS). So it's a pretty big upgrade for me.

I just called United Micro and they said they were expecting to ship my card tomorrow, 03/15. Kinda sucks because I placed the order on the 11th with the expectation that it would ship yesterday and I'd have it today. As long as I have it Monday, I'll live

yha, but Newegg doesn't tend to screw around. I wish it were $200, but hey... compared to the Matrox dual-DVI card, it isn't that bad a price.

Very true. I would have ordered it from newegg but united micro had them in stock first.

Just checked, searching for "nVidia GeForce4 Ti4600" on newegg returns nothing. Weird...

Ordered mine this afternoon from Newegg. Seems as though they only had a few, when they were sold they killed the listing. Already shipped - will be here tomorrow. $409 - steep, but I have 60 days to pricematch with Amex, so I'm not worried.

Great card, can't wait.

Wow, Newegg shipped it the same day I ordered, already have fedex tracking number... - no screwing around.

Overheated: I hope you are wrong about them not coming with the glasses, I swear I saw them in the photos that newegg had. Plus, at $410...

I would not worry about the glasses. I got a pair with an Asus card several months ago and i was not impresses at all. I think they are in the back of a drawer somewhere.

I had a problem with UnitedMicro (and atacom.com for that matter) and my order for the Gainward. Finally gave up and cancelled the order. Wounded up just picking up a Visiontek ti4600 at a local CompUSA. A little overpriced, but this particular specimen overclocks to 320/750 without any problems. Haven't pushed it further yet though.

I decide to cancel my order from united micro as well after being told it could be 8-10 days out....at this moment I have a PNY card in my shopping cart at newegg...hmmmm

I bet the problem is they are getting 20 or so cards in at a time and 500 people have ordered one.

I just got a 750XP retail wtih glasses, and realized i probably shouldnt have bought it, i paid 440 including S&H, but i'll sell it for 420 including SH unopened. I need to know by this weekend though if anyone interested.
And sorry for soliciting a sale outside the sales board, but since most of us were looking for one, i figure why not here.
