ETA on Gainward GeForce4 PowerPack! Ultra/750XP (Dual DVI)

have searched high and low but not. my only guess would possibly be www.newegg.com at some point. unfortunately however, they don't show any gainward g4 boards at all as of 3/8. waiting anxiously to connect my two sgi 1600sw's using a dual setup with that card.
 
I ordered mine from unitedmicro.com (found it on pricewatch) for 385 + 13 shipping. They say theirs will ship on the 13th. I was disapponted to find out I can't do my dual 2048x1536 like i wanted though 🙁
 
I also ordered from unitedmicro and a first batch was supposed to go out on 03/08 (last Friday) to fill pre-orders and I wonder if anyone got shipping notices yet? I didnt, and last time I checked my order status indicates "accepted" with no indication of shipping date....just anxiously waiting.
 
Anyone get their's yet....unitedmicro was supposed to get a first batch out on Friday and was wondering if shipping notices had been recieved. I tried calling but cant get thru.
 
I haven't , and i haven't been billedf or it yet either. and Offtopic yet on topic: I tried contacting the US tech support about their dual cards, but their email box is full so it was sent back to me. I just wanted to know about the dual monitor situation.
Lastly are all GF4s dual monitor by default? aka if i get a dvi->vga converter can i make the visiontek serve as a dually?
 
you got it right about all g4s being dual monitor capable. Mwave happens to have DVI to VGA connectors for $6 but this Gainward card includes them both since they come with dual DVI connectors out of the box.
 
Yes but that 1 DVI port being limited to 1280x1024 discerns me, i MUST have my dual 2048x1536. Gainwards hasn't responded to my email inquring about it or to gamepc's either.

UPDATE: Ok i called them at the number listed on the site asking for tech support and they said the guy was on the other line could i call back in 30 mins, WTF i say. =(
 
why the hell would anyone need to do dual 2048x1536???
the max ive ever ran at was 1600x1200 on a 21 in moniter and that looked fine i couldent imagin goin any bigger
whats the point???
 
Called today and they said mine will arrive this Thursday or Friday. Of course they said last Friday last week... Guess they didn't get enough to cover my order...
 
I had called them and preordered the first day it went on pricewatch. Can't wait to fire that bad boy up tonight. They ship FedEx ground. They sent it out from Ohio on Friday and it is here in South Carolina today.
 
Came with the Fire Wire card and Serious Sam. Overclocked it to 320/750. 3dmark2001 score is 11,000. Getting about 2,500 more points over my old Gainward G3 ti500.
 
Damn DARRIN, I wasnt expecting the firewire card...sweet. Just called this morning, apparently they have a new shipment of cards coming tomorrow so I should expect delivery by sometime next week...cant wait!
 
DARRIN, does unitedmicro update their order status on their website or do you get shipping notification by email. This is my first transaction with these guys.
 
The day mine came in the mail their site still said order "can not be found" so you really can not rely on that too much. I never go an email from them or anything. I did call them several times to find out the status. I would call them Friday to see if your shipped out.
