what kind of stuff? its an older palm pilot- a zire 71, no fancy GPS or any of that crap.

one of my fav apps is "metro" which will give you public transportation maps etc for various cities.

i'm looking for somethign that would have street maps, especially of the london area. you guys got any recommended software apart from me just uploading a high res map of london onto it and viewing it with a picture viewer?

cheers :)

Doesn't have a GPS? Or you don't want? umm... regardless, tomtom navigator has a software/GPS unit pak that is supposed to be great. I only have the all-in-one TomTom GO 300 unit and it is a lifesaver when I am out and about, so its definitley worth considering and well worth the money if you want something along those lines... if not... SFCave is crucial for entertainment purposes.

no gps... just want a nice simple static map. i heard of tomtom, however looks a little advanced relative to what i'm looking for.

sfcave looks like a great thing to play if i'm sitting in the subway and what not, thanks for the link :)

Heh. No problem. SFCave can be uber-addictive. Me and my bro-in-law have a running contest over the top score. We are on the hardest difficulty and he currently holds the spear with 650. Its a lot of fun and real simple.

TomTom too much? Understandable. I don't know how much it costs necessarily for that setup but I must say that I have found it to be a life savor. Good luck on your quest. Doesn't google have something you could use?

SFCave is pretty classic. I got well past 1000, but it was on a 33mhz dragonball.
