I haven't read any of the thread as the first post scared me, but trying to say Mike Vick is in this position because of an anti-black conspiracy is just looney. His co-defendant pleaded guilty!

ESPN supporting the fact that blacks think its a racial conspiracy. I have alot of black friends, but most black's look to blame society for their own actions.

Michael Vick could have been white, asian, anything and still would be treated the same way in this case. Dog fighting is cruel......and what he did went way beyond dogfighting.

Have you guys seen the pictures of him with his dog and dog fights?

I actually know a lot of black people and none of them think it's a conspiracy...it's a pretty clear cut case here of what Vick did.

in exchange for NO leniency. He's not even getting a better deal.

It's not because he's black, it's because he's a celebrity. I guarantee you that if Tom Cruise was arrested on this, there would be MORE attention on this... not because he's white, but because he's a bigger celebrity than Vick.

Bah everything is a conspiracy nowadays.

There was no point to quoting the entire article. -Anandtech Moderator DrPizza

Cliffs?

Vick brings in a lot of money for the NFL and sports in general, so ESPN is trying to turn this into a racial thing to get him off the hook.

Perhaps. But the way I read into it is that people are wondering why many Atlanta Blacks think it's a conspiracy, and ESPN is answering that question

No. Just take your lazy ass and read the article. Cliffs around here are stupid. Why should we make a huge post and then add cliffs for all the retards who cant read?

That's a good question. Why exactly WOULD you post the entire article when you supply a link to it? Talk about retards....

Im going to post my source, instead of being called out shen's?

Better to stay silent and let people think you are stupid, than to speak and remove all doubt.

Yes, because people in Atlanta look to ESPN for their cues on racism

I said ESPN was answering it, not that people were going to ESPN to find the answers.

Was someone saying something about reading comprehension? 😉

Try coming here and see what people think (I'm about 5 miles from where he went to HS). I am constantly amazed by some of the comments I read in the local paper. I believe they are going to nominate him for sainthood.

Of course life is going to be hell when you never take responsibility for your actions and embrace a thug lifestyle..
How about some personal accountability on the part of celebrities that have all the resources to live a peaceful and charitable life? (and this is not a white or black issue)

And I expect the sporting world (nfl, espn, etc) to try to spin this and keep him playing for a while, but eventually they will turn on him. The game is not more important than all.
