espn.com and java

anyone w/ IE/avant browser having problem when browsing through espn.go.com ?

mine freezes 7out of 10 times i visit the site .. (use avant)

installed latest sun java.. and i suspect that's the problem.

same happens with my buddy's laptop w/ IE.

anyone know what' wrong?

I've got the same problem with espn. It's a stupid full screen pop-up ad. But nearly half the time it doesn't popup and it just freezes up IE totally :|.
