Hm i'll like to see this. Where has Bestheda said they'll do this? I find this a little hard to believe.
See post number one.

Not outright censorship, but a little self restraint to keep the sales up.
Just like Hollywood will go out of its way to avoid an NC-17 in the theaters. They know it means less money in the end.

Of course, Bethesda did put the code for boobs in the game. They just didnt have it available a part of the normal gameplay. Same as Grand Theft Auto.

OMG so they're going to make future games without ingame locked boob content? oh noes, what are we going to do?!

Well, I'll survive just fine.
But Hillary is going to have to start tackling real issues soon.

I'm starting to think it's like prison, except man on computer instead of man on man. Or maybe both. There is no reason for them to put the crap into any version of the game. How much company money gets wasted on this?

OTOH, maybe it was an elaborate stunt to increase sales. If so then it is genius.
From what I understand, its only there because its part of the meshes that were used to create the bodies. For instance, if you actually enabled thius mod, you'd see some pretty pitiful looking breasts as they were made to have clothing hang off of them in game.

Just what I read a few weeks ago.

Before the game was rerated, Pete Hines of Oblivion developer Bethesda Softworks discussed the mod with GameSpot. "Obviously we have a pretty big, and active, mod community for the PC version, and there are some gamers who hacked into Oblivion's art archive files and modified them to create a nude upper female torso in the game," Hines said. "We can't control and don't condone the actions of anyone who alters the game so that it displays material that may be considered offensive. We haven't received any complaints on the issue from anyone."

Link.

Clearly the ESRB is completely out of touch with reality on this one. I'm curious, does anyone have a decent amount of experience with coding scripts for IE? I'd love to see a mod that would have the ESRB's site focus on bestiality and see if they would be willing to warn parents of the content of their site due to the existance of such a mod.

I want a skin of Hillary naked- to replace, say, the zombies in HL2 :)
