Err i tried to mount my hda0 doing mount - t NTFS /dev/hda0 but uhh it says NTFS is not supported. I know the standard linux kernel does. Do i have to recompile a whole new kernel or is there something less painful? Thx

You'll have to build a new kernel. NTFS support in Linux is very beta .. actually, more like alpha. Last I heard it was reccomended as read-only.
