Error when updating profile

Whenever I try to change the email address in my profile, I get an IE popup window with that error, and "Error Code: 578"

It seems to only happen when I try update my email address -- other things work fine. Anyone know what is going on here? I can't find anything by searching.

Are you using an email from a banned provder?

Oddly enough, it didn't say anything about my provider being banned, but sure enough, using another one did the trick.
