Error updating Orinoco driver

I have an HP branded generic Orinoco Gold card. It was previously running firmware version 7.52 I believe. First, I upgraded the firmware to 8.72. That went ok. Then I uninstalled the driver and client so I could install the updated versions. The client seems to install fine, but I keep getting errors trying to get my Win2k laptop to recognize the card. Everything seems to be going ok until the last step when I get this error window. The device shows up with a yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager. If I uninstall the driver and reinstall, it does the same thing, except the driver name now has a higher number (i.e. #1, #2, ...). Any idea how to get my wireless card working again? Thanks for the help.

Try the Dell or Lucent Drivers maybe. I've had luck using my Dell Trumobile 1150 with Orinoco gold drivers (It's a gold, just rebadged) and so I'd assume that the reverse will work. DL them from Dell's site... -TAL
