Recently I was playing a game online when I heard a small clicking noise and lost all the noise to my speakers. The game crashed to my desktop and then the computer seemed like it froze because i couldn't move my mouse. So i rebooted the computer and ever since I rebooted it, I keep getting the following message as soon as I get on my desktop:
"CtHelper Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Also, I can't access the Creative AudioHQ program for my sound card(Audigy Gamer), i just get a message similar to the one above when i try to launch it. My computer seems to function normally aside from those issues and I still get sound from my speakers. I've updated my virus definitions and scanned my Windows hard drive partition but no virus was found. Any ideas why this is happening or what I could do to stop it? Thanks for any help/advice.
