Error Loading OS

Hey everybody,

I got a new DVD drive today to stick into my SN25P. It's the newest NEC DVD burner and I am replacing a slightly older but almost identical NEC burner (giving the older one to dad). I turned off the PS, took out the older drive and brought it home. Later tonight I brought the newer drive to my SN25P, put it in and reconnected all the HDDs (you have to pull them out to get to the optical drive) and booted it up. "Error Loading OS" ...oops, forgot to set the optical drive to the slave...ok, fixed that, boot it again..."Error Loading OS" It posts fine, the BIOS recognizes all the drives in the correst configuration....but WTF wont the OS load!? I have checked all my connections and they all seem solid...what could I be doing wrong?!?

HELP!

just make sure when you rewire your gizmos (hdd) y are on the correct order...not sure that the boot sequence would change, but it is a possibility that the wiring might have to do about it. Just check your motherboard bios and check what's the boot order of your system, if your primary IDE is somewhere that is wont suppose to be in, you can change that...
