I got a new MB last week, when my A7N8X died. It's a DFI Infinity NFII board. Computer worked perfectly with everything else still the same. A couple days ago I installed a new Mobile Barton 2400+ with a watercooling kit, and I can't boot to Windows. At first it was just unstable, and couldn't get through the loading screen. I did a Windows repair, and then starting getting an Error Loading OS message. Next I updated the Bios, swapped back to the old 1800+, did a fresh Windows XP install on a different hard drive. Got through the installation last night, everything went normally, but when I turned it on this morning to get the files off my main HD, Error Loading OS. AHHHHH! Any ideas?

Go into your BIOS and confirm that it's set to boot from HDD-0 in the Advanced BIOS Features menu.

are you overclocking anything else? you could run the drive makers diagnostic just to make sure there isnt anything wrong with the hard drive.

It is booting from HDD-0, but I also tried the other three as well, none work. Nothing is overclocked and I don't think three good hard drives went bad at the same time.

The only parts of my system that are kinda skimped on are the PSU, RAM, and Video card. I know its not the video card, could bad memory or a crappy PSU cause this? Kingston PC2700 Valueram probably doesn't last long at 200mhz and stock latencies even with a heat spreader LOL.

RAM and PSU seem to be two parts you don't want to skimp on. I try to never get crappy ram, or over clcok it just because it is an INCREADIBLY important part of the system.
