Hello, I hope someone out there has the piece of knowledge i'm missing, schools starting soon so I REALLY need my comp. back up and running.

OK the problem started when I tried to wipe this 6 gig file on my computer with Glary Utility s (a program I got from GOTD.com) then my comp. froze and gave me the blue screen of death. Now when im booting up, directly after the DMI table verification it says "error loading operating system". I would just boot from the CD and restore but my HDD's are RAID 0'ed and I cant find the drivers.

My Specs

2-160GB Western Digital HDDs - RAID 0
2-1GB DDR2 800 OCZ RAM
5200+ AMD AM2
EVGA 8800GTS 640mb
Foxconn Motherboard C51XEM2AA-8EKRS2H

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you

Did you write down the error message you saw at the blue screen?

Have you tried booting from a CD? Your nForce RAID may not need special drivers to be recognized by Windows setup.

errr, that would have been a good idea, but i do remember some, I t said that in order to protect my system windows has stopped running. I just now found the raid drivers and booted with the cd but its asking me if id like to set windows up on my hdd, in other words it dosent see that i already have xp pro. edition already (im not using the same cd though, could that be the problem?)

It sounds like your file system is corrupted. This is probably due to either the software you used or a hardware failure.

If you reload Windows, I would disable your RAID-0 setup. Software-based RAID-0 setups offer virtually no performance gains and severely increase your risk of data loss (since you must rely on 2 hard drives working instead of just 1). Good luck.
