Error loading operating system

HI... i had the winxp, and i installed the mandrake to try, (it was my fault) after that i tried to intall the winxp again. and what???? this thing dont let me!!!! "Error loading operating system", i tried every windows, but nothing help.. only linuxes i can to install,
i read about LBA,Large, (acces to HD) also not help...., i had formated some many times, and now really my aknoledge is over.. 😕

So upon booting from XP CD, you tried to format the drive??
The drive will have to be reformatted prior to installing XP.

If i boot the pc with boot disk, it not detect the hd. i format from xp setup.
