Error during windows installation

I just built my new rig. All is well and I load up the sata drivers for my card. Then when xp setup starts, I get an error saying windows cant continue installation. Then it gives me a manifest error at line 0. What do you guys think it could be???
 
Are you loading the SATA drivers at the beginning of the setup (ie, the blue background where it prompts you to hit F6?)
 
Manifest parser error? That be a badly copied XP CD, although there have been some cases of out the box legal versions doing that.
