Error - atapi event ID 11

The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Ide\IdePort2.

How can I locate this drive? I have SATA ports 0,1,2 in use, and IDE 0 in use with a CD rom and an old 500GB Seagate on one 80 pin cable.

All drives pass diags perfectly. Yet ever 10-30 days I get an entire event log filled with this error until the server reboots itself.

Well... you could disconnect them all except the OS drive, and then add them one by one, or, look in device manager, and then look at the IDE ATA/ATAPI Controller (or whatever it is called on your system), open that tree, and count down 2 hit properties, and it should be the one.
