3dmark01 is more processor related than graphics. When I upgraded from a GF4 to 9800np OCed to pro+ speeds, I only gained ~3000 3dmarks in 01, but skyrocketed from 1000 to 5600 in 03.

Yeah... I stopped tryin' to change the settings myself and just dragged the general Direct3d settings thing over to HIgh Performance on the left. Gave me 5800 3dmarks. I assume that others are getting their 6800 scores w/ same CPU and card by their 60mhz overclocks?

Anyways, I decided not to take it back, I just ordered the Zalman ZM80C-HP and the OP-1 fan... I get carried away with these things... I price matched, got a decent deal, and yet I'm up to nearly $400 on this video card... ugh. Plus I'll be endangering it within a week of it's purchase. heh.

Made Circuit City Pricematch Fry's non-ati 9800 pro for an ati 9800 pro. Then gave them a 10% off coupon they mailed to me forever ago. Not only did the manager not look at the ad (So it's how much at Frys? Ok), they didn't check the coupon. They just handed the cashier their swipe card and went back to reading People. Nevertheless, I didn't screw them at all, my coupon wasn't expired, and my ad was good, albeit for a different manufacturer of card.
