I have an Abit KT7 with a Duron 600@800. Somehow I decided to flash the bios for the motherboard because I was having ACPI problems. So I flashed the newest version the KT7WZ, and hit reset. Then I just hear the system speaking beeping for 5 seconds and the computer shut itself down. I tried turning it on again but all I get is the beep and the shutdown process.
Did I fry my BIOS? Am I, seriously screwed?

nope..just connect the cpu fan to header 1( the furthest away from cpu).
It has a built in protection.

edit:
you have to have a fan with rpm greater than 2000 connected to the cpu fan header otherwise it shuts down itself.
