And that crime was due to her being in a national spot light and someone knowing they have value due to her national image. There are nude pic's of many on the net but since they are not on a national setting no one cares.

If she does not want people to know who she is and be private then get a job at a desk somewhere.

I agree what happened to her is awful and against the law. But her complaining people are taking her picture in the public is a cry baby. Like famous actors doing the same thing.

she's complaining about people following her because she's scared. she was violated and humiliated by a peeping paparazzi and she has a damn good reason to be mindful of people taking pictures of her.

To bad if they do it in a public setting they are not breaking the law. She should either get over it and/or quite her job and move far away.

When you get into TV, movies, poltics, etc... you are going to have to give up a lot, esp if you get famous.

TMZ has learned an arrest has been made in the Erin Andrews Peeping Tom case -- the one in which the ESPN reporter was secretly videotaped walking around naked in various hotel rooms.... and the suspect has been charged with the federal crime of felony stalking.

48-year-old Michael David Barrett was arrested at Chicago O'Hare International Airport tonight.

According to the FBI, Barrett allegedly stalked Erin "with the intent to harass, to place under surveillance with intent to harass and intimidate, and to cause substantial emotional distress to a person in another state."

The videotapes surfaced in July. At least six clips showed Erin walking around two different hotel rooms in the nude, and were shot with a peephole camera. It was virtually impossible to tell when or where the videos were shot.

Andrews' lawyer, Marshall Grossman from the law firm Bingham & McCutchen tell TMZ Barrett allegedly contacted hotels in the various venues "where Andrews was working in order to locate her and her room number and some of the hotels revealed that information, permitting him to target her." Grossman says Barrett would remove the peepholes from the doors and insert tiny cameras devices to secretly film her.

Someone tried to sell the clips to TMZ, but we refused to buy or air them because they were an obvious invasion of Erin's privacy. The federal complaint says

I don't agree with the wording since yea, TMZ isn't really all for letting famous people live private lives - but I think TMZ purchasing photos of celebs at their worst is slightly different than purchasing hidden camera footage of them naked. There's a difference between leaving the house dressed hideously and looking like a mess / doing something stupid vs getting naked in a closed room and being spied on.
