I've been looking to get a new ergonomic keyboard to replace the Microsoft keyboard I have currently.

I've found two of them I like, but a) their wireless and I would prefer wired and b) they both come with mice which I don't need. I just want the keyboard.

Being Wireless isn't too big of a deal, I just don't want any latency in gaming. My friend has a Logitech mouse and I can notice latency in online gaming like CSS where every MiliSecond counts. Maybe I'm just anal about it, I don't know but I do notice it.

Logitech

and

Microsoft

My main question is - Does anyone know where I might find one of these keyboards but sold without the mouse. Their both expensive combo's and I just don't need a mouse at all, much less a wireless one. I'm perfectly happy with my Logitech MX510 and if I ever get something else it will be the MX518.

Any help is appreciated, also any other models that you might recommend. I have looked at other Black Ergo Keyboards on Newegg but didn't like any of the others I saw. I also don't want a brand that will make a crappy keyboard like some of them that they sell. Thanks.

The only one I know of is the Microsoft Optical Pro 2.0 which you already listed. You can always not use the mouse though. It isn't required and it will run the same if anything.

Yea I think I've decided on the Microsoft, but for $83.00 it seems like a waste. And from what I understand, I can't sell the mouse or anything since they components don't have seperate receivers. I was thinking if they sold the Keyboard anywhere by itself, that it should lower the price at least $20-30 which would be a lot better.

Anyone know if they sell this anywhere without the mouse?

I think they sell that combo at costco for ~50
