erazor at staples

price match to 135 and either add something for $15 to get to $150 and use $40 coupon for total of $110 or just use $25 coupon to get to $110

(i'm very new at this so i hope this works out right)

the DDR geforce 1 board is much faster.

that is more worth the price.

actually, an overclocked geforce DDR will put the smackdown on an overclocked sdr geforce2mx in many cases :)

the coupon doesn't work for existing accounts anyway.

As for the better card, the old GeForce256 DDR is faster because the GeForce2 MX is constrained by SDRAM.

However, I would take the MX because it is a smaller card, and draws a fraction of the power of the GeForce256 and GeForce2 GTS DDR cards.

i would go with the DDR erazor.
the All the geforce Mx has are a few features that are only used in those nvidia tech demos.(they are pretty cool though;)

Which card has a better chance of lasting in my overclocked ASUS P3B-F 133 fsb system? I can only set the AGP to 2/3(89mhz).

Matts122,

Refer to WolverinesSuck's post and make up your mind IMHO the Gladiac MX pretty much smokes the Voodoo 5500.

Guys, I purchased the Erazor X2 used for $200. just 3 or 4 months ago. And it was, for many months, the PC World top rated video card. It has been a terrific card, and at $110., it is now a great deal!

Mats122 - I wouldn't do that if you already have the Voodoo5. 3dfx just released some new drivers that enable the removal of hidden surfaces--speeds things up bigtime! They have a lot of bugs to work out though. Still, the Voodoo5 is a great card if you play racing games or flight sims since you can use FSAA with zero effect of your FPS :)

As of 12/1, 5PM the $25 coupon thru Onvia is dead.
Talked to CSR and they said any new ones would
be e-mailed to members.

Jaton mx is DDR (check their website),
I had bad experience with Jaton's vga card in the past,
I highly recommand not to buy Jaton's card.

Between a GeForce and a Voodoo5, Which one would make a better all around gaming card?

I play a lot of FPS (UT, Tribes, Q3), as well as Counter-Strike, but I also like racing games like NFS.
