Erased DOS partition... help

I'm not very familiar with this (I've never done it before). I seem to have wiped the DOS partition (oops) on my machine and every time I reboot the machine posts, goes through the IDE detection etc, then it goes to a screen that says hit any key to reboot.

How do I get it to recognize the floppy drive? I've got the setup disks for DOS 5.0 and DOS 6.2 but they aren't seen by the machine. I've set the Bios to detect floppy boot disks and set the boot order to "A,C" but it's not seeing any of it.

Please help!

Are you working with an older 486 machine???
When your PC boots up are you able to go into the BIOS???
Go into the BIOS and make sure the BIOS is detecting both the
floppy drive and the Harddrive.
Make sure your DOS 5.0 and 6.2 disks are BOOT disks.....some are
just update disks.....Greg
