2. I think redlight cams need to have the front plate.

People who blow red lights more than once a year should have their license taken away, IMHO.

I haven't blown a red light in years, but that doesn't mean I want the gubment watching me on camera.

On my 96 Maxima, the front bumper has slits for air to flow through that would be blocked with the license plate.

Right. When the engineers at Nissan designed your car, they would never have suspected the usage of front plates. In fact, I'm willing to wager that your car's performance isn't affected in the slightest bit due to the presence of a front plate.

aerodynamics....

it probably eats up like .0001hp. Just put a NAAAAAWWWWWS sticker on and you'll get 20 extra hp, who cares about that .0001hp?

Online petitions probably won't do jack. Let alone one that cites 'performance' as a reason. 😀 😉

I dread the day someone thinks of putting license plates in front of motorcycles. :Q 🙁

It's bound to happen!
😉

Ewww... 😛

Actually that looks a lot better than what they had planned over in the UK. They were going to have those big fat plates and just stick them somewhere up front. 😕 I don't know if they're still trying to do that.

Performance, maybe not, but reliability, yes. I have a transmission cooler installed where the license plate may block flow to it. Again, for something that doesn't provide me any benefit, cost $40 to get a bracket, exposes me to higher risk of redlight cameras and lasers, harms the appearance, and only costs me $10 ticket, why should I bother getting one?

Then you have nothing to worry about because they'll only bother to look at you if you blow a red light.

Seems pretty stupid to me...

I had my car for years with no front plate, no problem. I eventually got one once I knew where I was going to school.
