ER subplot question

About 5 episodes ago, it appeared that Pratt's cousin won the Lottery. I have missed one or 2 episodes this season and I am wondering if they have put that as an "ace in the hole" for a season finale, decided to scrap that idea or have already shown that he was wrong and he didn't really win. Did I miss it?

I think that he was wrong. I thought that he had bought the 'winning ticket' off of someone on the street and Pratt tried to explain to him what the deal was. Of course, I might be remembering it wrong.
