hmm. i had heard rumours about this. his character is one of the best on the show imho, but my wife and i only started watching ER about a year ago. apparently we missed the best seasons but they're all on DVD. i would defintely consider buying them all over time.

Uhhh, he did bang Lucy. It was implied. When Carter and Lucy talk about being "incompatible" and Lucy talks about her grandparents being married 50 years and still having great sex, Carter mentions about them going back to his place for a another quickie.

That being said, E.R. has been on a free-fall ever since Greene left (and maybe even a little before). It's barely watchable now.

the article states that it's still popular among the 18-19 crowd in terms of timeslot so they will continue the show since there will be advertising support. I don't know that the 18-19 crowd is watching for Dr. Carter.
