Equipment for internet conection

Ok, Have 4 four computers and a 8 port ethernet Switch. What kind of quipment would need to connect all those computers to the internet.
 
A simple router will do the trick. You're going to max out the available ports on most home based routers. If you feel you will need extra ports (do plan ahead) you will have to keep that in mind. You will most likely have to jump up to an 8 port solution.

For the security advantages a router provides, I would ditch the switch and go solely with the router.

I have this one set up at my wife's office. It has been totally trouble free for over two years.
 
She has DSL at the office. I'm assuming the connectors are the same for ADSL. The line comes in and goes first to the modem and from the modem to the router so it should be a non-issue.

The connection from the modem to router is CAT5.
