Looks pretty hot.

Add another $15 in tax for me and it's a $229 printer for $95. Pretty hot sounding to me!

there is a rebate that doesn't have the terms that you have to buy from the epson store, on the rebate page from epsons website.

there

unfortunately, I think that all the recent 50 off of 200 coupons have been converted into phone order only coupons.

I assume this deal is still valid if you over it over the phone, just a pain in my mind.

thanks for the good deal...

Does the link on the Epson site work for anybody? The link in the above message says that this can only be purchased through the Epson store...

See my post above! BTW, I don't think this printer is anywhere near as good as the 925, but it's $20 dearer and only has a $50 rebate. Might be worth the extra money though.

can you price match at staples with a online store? i remember some stores don't do that... it has to be another retail store

No it doesn't. This is the same one we have seeen. It says if you buy at Staples or Costco, don't use this form, so why would you think the deal is back on?

Do Officemax or Office Depot have any coupons that make buying this printer from either of them worthwhile? Then the rebate form could be used.

The rebate form that was on staples said if you buy it at staples or costco, you can't use that rebate form. The rebate form on the epson site said you have to buy it at the epson store.

I'll try to make this clear: If you buy this printer at Staples, your rebate *should* be rejected regardless of which rebate form you use. If you want to argue with Staples that they shouldn't have had a rebate form on their site that was no good, maybe you have a shot, but don't just buy it at Staples and assume you'll get your $100 back. There is NO rebate form out there that would be acceptable for a purchase at Staples.

keep in mind this does not have a card reader.

How does this compare with 785epx (discontinued) which had a card reader and can be had for 100?
