Not on the website. Minimum 10 per store. No rainchecks. 1440X720 resolution. $49.99 less $25 MIR.

The ink capacity is half that of the C80s. So you pay more in ink. But for $25 bucks im not sure how it works out cause the C80 is like $150.

I think you are confusing these with LEXMARK printers. This is an excellent CHEAP printer! I have one of these and an EPSON 780 PHOTO. Funny thing is that I wind up using this printer 80% more of the time for everyday type stuff because it is so cheap to run. Generics can easily be had for 2.25(blk) 4.29(color)...

PROS-
1440*720 DPI
CHEAP to run
Great photo printing software ala EPSON PRINT FACTORY (sells for 25.00 on epson site.)
25 bucks
Excellent results on glossy paper
XP drivers

CONS
1440X720 (If you are one of those 2400 DPI snobs)
NOISY
Very slow on MAx output for photos.

No Epson C40's at Best Buy on Sunday!

I went to BB today and they said the shipment of C40's never made it to the warehouse [NE Ohio]. I asked them to check the stock of other area Best Buy's and they said that none of the local stores received any from the warehouse.

They were substituting the deal with a cheap looking Lexmark printer for $25 AR. I have 2 Epson 880's from the refurbished Staples deal a while back and some friends of mine were looking for similar deals. The C40 isn't as good, but it still uses cheap ink.

Has anyone else actually found these in store? Keep us posted please!

Oh, I was in CUSA last week and they had a pile of Epson 480SXU printers in the corner. They were still at retail price, but I thought that a deal might be coming down the pike with so many on the floor. Anyone have any insight on these?

I don't know what you are talking about cheap lexmark printer. Its a $100.00 dual cartridge printer that they are substituting. Look at this thread LINK at the other Hot deals web site. I think we all got very good deals. Also has a $25.00 rebate on the Lexmark printer

None of the Best Buy stores got the printers....substituting a Lexmark printer which as we all know you can buy a new printer for less than the price of new carts!!!!:disgust:

ROSSMAN !!!!!I have done so well on all of your deals in the past it's a pleasure to finally return the favor!

I go back and forth on two sites .....

simplybargains.com has cheaper pricing (but much higher shipping so it's usually only better to use them on orders larger than 6 carts or so.)

INKtoner is just a bit more expensive on some things, but they have flat 4.25 shipping which is nice for smaller orders.

Hope that helps ROSSMAN....

Thanks from another DVDTalker 😀

Megatoner.com and if you order over 15 carts it's free shipping, for all 15 of my carts 8 black/7 color for a photo 700 and it came in right around $30 that's the price of 1 oem epson cartridge...need I say more?

Thx for the heads up on the substitution info dirtrat. I went to my local BB and picked up a lexmark z53 for 50$ + tax. Since the cost of ink is kind of high for this printer, I think I'll run back and pick up another one for the ink!
😉

Thats EXACTLY why some people like this deal, 2 cartridges for $25.00 after rebate and you get a printer thrown in for free! Thats one way to look at it but its actually a pretty good quality color printer. Does 2400 x 1200 dpi (black and color) on all paper types and Up to 16 pages per minute black and 8 pages per minute color.

I agree. . . If you're stuck with having to buy "refilled" cartridges @ $20 a piece, this would be a good deal for you. . .

However, back to the Epsons! I purchase two Epson 880's for $35 each AR/AC from Staples a while back thanks to "Hot Deals" folk! Megatoners is the place for cheap Epson ink!

For your $25.00 I can get 5 color and 5 black cartridges for the Epson 880! I bought like 40 cartridges last time for around $100. I print huge volumes of full color ads using these babies and they are great. I would like more 880's but there is a high demand for them 'cause they use the cheapest ink out there. The C40's would be a good deal too for $25 'cause ink for these puppies is about the same price, although the quality is slightly lower.

Come on Best Buy, get those Epsons on the shelf for $25!

I ALSO own a Epson Stylus Photo 750, but I don't use it that often and my print heads are constantly clogging. I waste more ink trying to clean the heads than I do actually printing. Unfortunately this is a common problem with many Epson printers. I will say that when its unclogged the photo print quality is very good. Those are very good prices for the cartridges, I've never tried refilled cartridges yet.

Snagged a Lexmark Z53 today for $50 with a $25 rebate from Best Buy B&M. Thanks guys! 🙂 I first asked for the Epson C40 and then when they told me they didn't have any I asked them what they were offering in its place. Had I not known to ask this I doubt if I would have been offered the Z53.

I got two of these and told my brother. He runs to Best Buy after work and they give him the Z53, but screw it up somehow at the register. The manager comes over and they give him the $25.00 off INSTANTLY and they keep the rebate slip - $27 out the door!!! He runs into my dad on the way out and tells him. He goes in and gets in on the same deal. I'm gonna try to pick up another one tomorrow. Hope I get it without having to hassle with the rebate. :Q

Greed is a deadly sin you know! 😉 And after all it's only a flippin' inkjet printer. Besides, it's one rebate per person/family/address so you may get caught out in one or more of your buys.

Some stores still have the Lexmarks - I picked one up this afternoon. The cartridges are the full-sized standard print cartridges and both black and color are included. These two cartridges alone sell for $71 at Best Buy. I personally like the quality of the printing I get from Lexmark printers even though the ink is expensive. This just saved me $46 for replacement ink for my Z31 AND I get a new printer! Thanks to therhino for posting the substitution (even though he thought that it was cheap-looking).
