Here has about the cheapest real cartridges I've seen. $9.99 for the colors and $18.99 for the black. Don't know what shipping is.

came home today and found the C84 printer that I had ordered on 6/7 sitting on my doorstep. I was told via email from customer service that my order was cancelled b/c this was a discontinued printer and Office Depot would not be receiving anymore shipments from Epson.

I assumed my order was cancelled.

-awesome prints with the nikon d70

Yeah, I'd rather have the r200 than the C84, but for $7.81 I can't complain...

Now all I have to do is hold out on a good deal for a canon i960 or i900d. :D

I think Megatoners sells cartridges for about $3.79 per cartridge. I'm actually hopeful that the black generic ink will actually be better than the durabrite garbage.

For people wondering about generics and clogged heads - I've had about the same success with either gereric or legitimate Epson ink. And the black in the generic, at least for my Epson 880, is blacker than the Epson stuff. Since I only paid about $15 after rebate for the printer (I had to pay tax), I'm not about to spend $40 on all Epson cartridges. I'll throw the printer in the trash before I'll spend that much money to refill it with ink.

SimMike2 - Which "brands" (G&G, Nectron, Rainbow, USA) of generic ink have you tried for your Epson 880, and which of them do you prefer?

The baaaaastids!
They listed the C84 as discontinued, OOS and never to be in stock again and the R200 as OOS when I tried to order. They're both available now.

Too bad the OD MIR is expired now.

I'm curious what the CDRs look like after printing on them. Anyone got a pic? You gotta use special CDR's too, correct? Does Canon have a printer that'll do this?
