EPoX EP-9NPA+Ultra O/C problems

Hello,
I am having problems overclocking. I have everything set up and working fine, ubt i cannot raise fsb. I put it to 250 and increased voltages, messed w/ everything, ht, mem on auto, it boots, but no windows. I have done everything i can think of, never really had this much problems overclocking b4. Raised voltage +.15 for cpu, nforce 1.8, ram to 1.8. Ht to 3x, multiplier to 8x. I dunno, any thoughts? mobo problem? Please lemme know, this is frustrating...

Im using ADATA DDR 500 (works great, ive done 280+ fsb b4 on p4)

Also for some reason my sata will never be C:, it is always E; ( i have 2 ide cd drives and 2 hd's) but i cannot get my Sata drive to set to C:, im running windows off E??)

Are you using a memory divider?

For your SATA disk, I always recommend installing Windows with only the target hard drive and the cd-rom drive on the system. After it's installed connect the additional disks.

Should have done this for the drive letters:

Only have the sata drive and CD rom drive plugged in and install windows, then connect the second hard drive and it will be assigned E:\

yes those 2 responses are correct for you lettered drive problem. Make sure in the bios that the sata drive is first. Unplug your other drives and boot up. go into disk manager and make sure its the "c" drive. then shut down and reconnect the other drives...regards

Hey.
Thanks a lot, i figured it out b4hand, but u guys are right. I disconnected my other ide hard drives and left the cdrom drive attached. Now i have another problem, I cannot overlock at all, and I even RMA'd my board. I just got the cpu from monarch 3 days ago. But it wont overclock no matter wat i do, i can only overclock like 15mhz fsb. Any ideas? anyone using this board yet, i even updated bios.

Some sata drives don't overclock well. I suggest an ide drive if you have an extra one.

There was a post/page somewhere about moving a jumper (H4 or something) that helped oc'ing... but I've been staying up too late... ;-)

Try a different SATA port on the motherboard. My 9NDA3+ could only hit 220 until I switched SATA ports, now I'm at 280HTT.
