Epox EP-8RDA nForce2 chipset only $79 at AccessMicro

I am thinking of of upgrading my system. My daughters system has gone out in college and I am think og letting her have my Abit KG7. I want to get an nForce2 chipset, but probably will look elsewhere.

Monty, thanks for the input. I had heard that the nForce2 chipset rocks. 😀

This is a better price than any of those listed in the other thread for the non + version and since it may only be one day, I decide to list it separate.

There's a reason AccessMicro wasn't listed in that thread: ResellerRatings. 😉 But it seems moot, price has gone up. Was indeed a one-day thing. Good price to get in on for that board.

Are you sure the 8RDA+ lacks onboard LAN? I am looking at the product page and under Network it says 1 x Realtek RTL8201 PHY

n/m I misunderstood what you were saying 😱

yellowperil... dude... this is not the + version 8RDA (no plus)

No lan as can be seen in this picture.

Get the + version where the sound is so good, you don't need a separate sound card.

If you want the + and want to save some money get the FIC-AU11.
It's the exact same board without the LED readout.
According to FIC they make the 8RDA+ for EPOX.

I just got mine today and it's identical to my 8RDA+ I have in another computer,
except for that readout of course, but it does have the holes for it.

So what's the difference between the "+" verision and non plus?
Can I use the Logitech z540 speakers on the integrated sound chip in non plus version??

Yea, to me too. I ordered once or twice from them and everything went fairly well. I guess I was lucky *shurg*

I have the EPOX 8RDA non "+" version b/c i already had an Audigy sound card and a solid network card...so i didn't see a need to pay for those functions again.

i have to say that this is the best freakin' mobo i have ever had! Recommend it highly!

got it right now running at 166 FSB with an XP2100+ T-Bred B at default voltage with two sticks of DDR 3200. no effort at all on the overclock...temps between 33C and 38C with a Vantec Aeroflow heatsink. the CPU reads as a 2700 on the boot 🙂

i may or may not try to run it higher. just so solid right now, but i know it'll do more. Probly have to move the multiplier down some tho...oh yeah, the multiplier is unlocked

Paid $88 bucks at Newegg...i've had it for about a month now

get one, you won't be sorry!
