KT266A doesnt offically support DDR333! I doubt it would but hey Leadtek's SIS 735 board does.

I remember someone scoping the Epox or something like that and they found out that it does have the 1/5 divider. It kicks in at 160mhz or something.

The clock generator chip does support the correct AGP and PCI dividers for 166mhz and 200mhz FSB operation, but Epox claims that the KT266A chipset doesn't support it. I started a thread about this awhile ago in the motherboard forum. The data sheet for the ICS clock generator chip shows that it's supported....in hardware anyway. You hit 166mhz FSB, but that doesn't mean the PCI and AGP buses are back in spec... :)

Isn't AMD going to have to up their bus speeds to really take advantage of high DDR memory speeds. Seems like the CPU is more the bottleneck than the memory right now as far as the bus goes. Am I right?

<< Yes ... but when the Crucial PC2100 DDR ram is clocked at 166Mhz thats 333 DDR >>

He probably just got one of those good RAM modules, and good boards.
Anyway, what's your PCI frequency?
This thread has nothing to do with the PCI divider.
When I saw the title. I thought that some one has come up with a MOD to enable 1/5 and 1/6 PCI divider... ~sigh... O'well...

All AMD has to do is lower the multiplier and increase the bus speed just like the person in the thread Nucleus linked to did.
