Ocworkbench .

I`ve changed the title from review to preview since not really a review in my books, the preview also stops at page 4 for some reason, but quite a few BIOS photos.

UPDATE:They have fixed the dead pages after page 4 ,so you`ve all the other pages available,so I`ve put the title back to review.

The only thing turning me away is this:

"Support single-sided or double-sided 2.5v DDR-333/400 DIMMs with dual channel architecture in 128/256/512Mb technologies"

If that says what I think it says, I can't use my 1GB sticks to have the 2GB of RAM.

Otherwise, if it came out at the same time as the MSI K8N Neo2, I would more than likely get this.

I'd e-mail EPoX to make sure it is or isn't able to use 1GB sticks...I do not see why it wouldn't be able to since its max is 4GB...

The EPOX only allows vDIMM up to 2.8v and the CPU multiplier only goes as low as 8X and the CPU vCore only goes to 1.7v.

It's nice that it goes up to 400Mhz but what for when every other overclocking setting blows?

Taken from their fixed last page,

Overclocking wise, the EPoX 9NDA3+ comes equipped in PowerBIOS all the features that overclockers love to have. They include all the voltage adjustments and an amazing FSB range adjustable up to 400MHz FSB. The BIOS offers FIX AGP which allows us to max up the FSB to around 285MHz x 8. We did manage to POST at 295MHz but it is unstable. It seems that it is the limitation of the CPU since PCI/AGP is not affected.

Overall, the EPoX 9NDA3+ is a rock stable board and if you are those freaks who wants to have fun with an expensive Socket 939 CPU. This board is there for you. The only probable con is the voltage selection options are too limited.
