EPOX 8RDA3+ Cold boot problem

When I boot a machine from cold it gives the error message that the cpu settings are incorrect and have been set to default and to change them in the bios. When I just enter the bios and hit save, everything then works fine? Any ideas why this is happening. It is a Barton 2500+ @1980mhz FSB is 180mhz. I kinda remember seeing a similar problem somewhere but can't remember if there is a solution.

You have to update the board's bios. The only bios that supports (in other words, recognizes) Bartons and Thortons is the latest one.
