Epox 8rda+ and turning off integrated sound

My question is how do you do this? I have the 3522 bios. Is it the ac97 sound thing in intergrated per.? I know it's something in Bios

Yes, Disable AC97 if you do not want to use the onboard sound.

What about game port and midi port? Do i disable those too? I have a santa cruz that i want to use

Well, if you want to use the midi and/or game port on the Santa Crud card then disable them on the motherboard.

like to plug a midi device (i.e. an electronic keyboard) into the computer. Then you can play music on it into the computer, or compose music on the computer and output it to the keyboard.

oOo I see so are those the only three things that i need to disable? is there like a mic input i need to disable or something? I just want to use my santa cruz and not the onboard stuff ( i don't want anything to conflict)

no, the mic is part of the on board sound, once it's disabled, it just plain don't work.
