I have had great luck with my MB. So far no problems from installation through usage of three months. Although I did flash the BIOS last month just to have the latest installed.

I just built a Duron 800 w/8kta+ for my girlfriend and had some stability problems in the begining. (ATI Rage Fury Maxx, SBLive! value, 128mb pc133, 30GB IBM ATA100, modem blaster) After updating the BIOS a few times it seems to have calm down. It's stable now. Good MB.

I had an 8kta2
ran flawlessly
then I got the Pro2a cuz everyone else did, no better reason I can think of
and at this point, I really wish I still had the 8kta2
because I don't overclock and right now I'm having some "issues"
with my usb intellimouse optical flickering on and off and it's
repeating on several replacement mice which leads me to the ports
or usb bus on the motherboard as a possible cause (reinstalled windows also already,
also I can't figure out the power mgmt (can't make it come back with a wiggle of the mouse)

I got both boards from lynn computer and was intrigued when I saw them listing
an eta of January on the 8kta3. I sent them an email asking when in January
they expected them and the guys emails me a smartass email back saying
ETA IS NOW FEBRUARY AS IS LISTED ON OUR WEBSITE.

I went back and checked his website again and it still said ETA January.

In this day and age, there is no room in the market for snide or smartass
responses to your customers, especially repeat
ones, so I've ordered my last item from lynncomp.com.

Zulu crawls down off soapbox.

having said that, I also like z-buy.com as a place to order from.

After getting quite positive feedback about the board on Monday, a friend bought the 8KTA2. It was comparably cheap, and he hasn't had any problems with it.

I have one and it works fine.

600 Duron at 900MHz@1.8v
Alpha H/S
Radeon 32 MB DDR (originally a GeForce MX)
128MB Crucial PC133 CAS2
IBM 75GXP 30GB
Aureal A3D 2.0 sound
MS USB mouse
98Lite

Using for gaming and trying weird stuff...my old Soyo BX is now work and internet only.
