Hey there...
Anyone out there familiar with the EpoX 8kha+ motherboard? If so I was wondering why it isn't recognizing this 1GB stick of RAM I just bought. It has all the same stats as the current stick of 512 that I'm currently using (PC2100 DDR 266mhz), but whenever I boot up with it (in any of my 3 ram ports, or alone) I get the motherboard beeping and my monitor won't even come on.
When I plug it in to a port along with my current stick of 512, the system boots up without any errors but during the memory test in my BIOS it doesn't recognize any new RAM being added... sticks at around 524---- like usual.
Are there any particular BIOS settings that I may have overlooked? Or is my motherboard just too old (2002) to handle a 1GB stick?
THank you for any help.
