When I start up my just built computer, my mobo gives me an FF code. It doesn't show any video at all. Any suggestions. Thanks a lot.

This very problem was discussed recently. Does the code go right to FF after applying power or does it cycle through a number of different codes before settling on FF. The latter is the normal behavior. Try the following after disconnecting everything but the CPU/HSF, memory and video card:
1. If it goes right to FF check to make sure the memory is seated. This board requires alot of pressure to get the memory all the way in. Even if the clips lock it does not mean that the memory is all the way in. You should here a crunching sound when it is finally in.
2. If it cycles through different codes then settles on FF check your video card to make sure it is seated. If that is not the problem you may want to check the motherboard with a video card you know works.
3. Clear the BIOS. You can either move the jumper on the motherboard or I believe you can hold down the "Insert" key while the system POSTs.
If none of these fix the problem you may have a bad board.

BTW. What power supply are you using?

I'm dumb and I seem to be missing the point of this...please enlighten me.

Anyway, to fix my FF boot problem, I removed the video card from the agp slot, then put it back in. Except, instead of stopping when It seemed to click in, I kept pushing a little. This mobo seems to be deceiving as far as seating the video card goes. I had to push really hard on the video card before it worked. I had heard this was a problem, but didn't expect it to go in that hard. I removed the video card and put it back in no less than 10 times before it finally worked. Now everything is working great.

I've had the same problem, but even with no cards, only the video card on (and good attached) it always got FF. I know that it is supposed to pass the tests and stop at FF, the boot. But my other mobo, when i've power it up, it only stays at FF. I've RMA it, and now everything fine. I've keept all my other stuff.
Sorry for my english.
