This is really weird. My computer showed one BSOD under Windows XP Pro and since then I can only run my Athlon or my brother's Duron using the 200FSB. If I use the jumper in the 266 position it locks everytime I bootup.
Ideas???

Thanks and sorry for my poor english

Looks like his XP1600 (266) is also having problems.

[*]Try flashing your bios
[*]pull all expansion cards except video
[*]raise the cpu voltage to 1.85v
[*]raise the DDR voltage to 2.7

I think there is a jumper on the board you have to enable to run @ 133 FSB

Ausm, in his initial post he stated "If I use the jumper in the 266 position it locks everytime I bootup."

Tried almost everything:
Changed PSU, videocard, voltage settings, memory settings, CPU, and finally today it locks using the 200FSB too!!
So it must be the motherboard or the DIMM.
Its great when this things happens here in the 3rd world. Here there are no DDR Dimms in the stores because thats "fresh" tech.

On a "off topic" note: Every single person who includes the "sorry about my english" clause at the end of their post, usually has perfect spelling and grammer! The people that really need to apoligize for their writing, are those people who wRiTe LiKe ThIs!!!! What's up with that anyways? ;) just my .02

i've never seen bad ram cause this problem. if the ram is bad, it'll usually won't boot up when the system is checking the ram. so my guess is that it's the mobo.
