Epox 8K7A no cold boot

Hi I just got my refurb epox 8k7a board from newegg and it doesnt cold boot at all, I have to hit reset and only then will it boot. Even reseting through windows it will not boot, just no post and no monitor signal. I have to power down and then power up and then hit reset before system starts. Anyone know why? I have an antec 400w 12v powersupply, samsung 2100 ddr.

when u say power it up, then hit reset... exactly what happens when u press the power button? do the fans spin or anything? if not... then i would think that u might have the power and reset wires mixed up.

no I hit power, fans turn on, harddrive active, everything just no monitor signal or POST, I have to hit reset after to get it to actually POST. Power and reset are not switched cause you can turn a comp on by hitting reset.

oh damn man, i bought the refurb from newegg too, but then guess what, same problem
same here too, Pop it in , no video , it does post , then gotta reset couple times before video coming out

but neway, anyone know why ?

mnfenixtx , it did post, just u did not see it, since there is no screen, look at the LCD, if it doesn't post then the LCS will come out with a error code.
