EPOX 8K7A Motherboard's Noisey ChipSet Fan

My EPOX 8K7A+ Motherboard's ChipSet Cooler Master Fan sometimes becomes very noisey and its speed starts to slow down.

I took off the Computer's side cover and I noticed that when the fan is noisey it's rotational speed rate slows down greatly.

Is the Chipset Fan becoming defective or is the noise and rotational speed slowdown being caused by another source?

If the Chipset Fan is defective, can I replace the Fan with another Fan?

Jonathan

You can replace it, or do what I did and e-mail Epox tech support, they asked for my mailing address and sent me a new chip set sink and fan.

If you want to replace it go with Thermaltakes Blue orb or New Crystal orb. If you don't like those look at Vantecs line of chipcoolers.

What is the correct EPOX E-Mail Address for me to ask them for the replacment EPOX 8K7A+ Motherboard's ChipSet Fan?

Just don't get too pissy with it !!!!!!
The damn fan on my boards started groaning, it drove me nuts. It was mocking me ya see? Sound insulation, Silencer fans, a fan bus, all for a quite rig, but that 40mm bitch from hell was ruining everthing!!!!!!
I lost my cool and cut the plastic pins holding the sink that the fan is mounted to. It laughed at first , taunting me, then I got out a screw driver and began to dig that whore from her roost
One pin let go, the other wouldn't without much force and then with a pop and a scream(I'm not sure from who, the fan or me). And in that moment as she was falling away I swear I saw it, that heat sink reared it noisey, ugly head back and bit that little resistor that sat loyaly, silently beneath her, and clawed a 2 inch moat into the mobo.
I quietly buried my epox next to my dog. The sink/fan were dicretely dismember, burned , and buried outside of county lines
................but it's quiet now................don't hear a thing............I can here the crickets outside.......
and the footsteps....., do you hear the footsteps?
