I am reading the little temperture display on the MOBO and it says FF what does that mean?

it's not a temperature display, it's a status display, it shows various codes through the boot process so if there is a problem during bootup, you can see by the code where the problem is (i.e. ram, cpu, etc...). FF is the final code meaning that the boot process was successful and the operating system has taken over

The codes are listed in the back of the manual and FF means F++++=G FINE I think! I've seen quite a few others too and they aren't fine.

lol...don't worry about it...temp display is in BIOS or you can use CPUCOOL to check ur system temps.

FF is what comes up after the system posts, hoever on my board, it would go right to FF, and would not work, which usually means the cpu is dead or the board is bad.

Or it means the system is rebooting properly. That is what would happen when I would try to reboot before I replace the Netgear NIC with a Linksys one.
