Epidemic of fragmented page files.

As part of my usual tune ups I always check the fragmentation of the pagefile.
I use the sysinternals pagedefrag from MS systinternals.

Seems like with memory so cheap and downloading music, etc so prevalent, many people have a lot of data on their hard drives, then they add memory and the pagefile has no more room for a contiguous file.

One way to decrease the fragmentation of your page files is to create a swap partition on your hard drive specifically for those page files. That way, the page files won't have to compete for space with your other files. I started setting my computers up that way years ago, and it seems to help system performance.
