I only just noticed it.
EpicDomains and GoDaddy "twins"? EpicDomains and GoDaddy

Both offering $6.95 for *new* OR *transfer*, but $8.75 / 8.95 to *stay* and *re-new*?

Sooo similar, that it looks like they're "twins"!
(Essentially, the same web pages. But, of course, not.)

Anyhow, why stay and pay GoDaddy for $8.95 or EpicDomains $8.75 to *re-new* with them?
When you can painlessly *transfer* registration w/1 year extension to their "twin", both now at $6.95?
$2/domain * # of domains = real money?

$6.95 now the new de facto per year price of leasing a domain name?
Temporary "sale" or tip of the iceberg?

godaddy has a lot of twins, actually. They have one that let's you hide who is the owner of the domain, I think it is called domainsbyproxy, but it is the same company, too. $6.95 for a domain is good. One of my hosts, 1and1.com, has 50cents per month for domain registration, if you have hosting through them (and their prices are decent, but not the best, but they are a very top-end (reliable) host). For awesome hosting prices from a good, dependable host, I recommend ace-host.net (see my other post).
