well the first couple "scary movies" were pretty good, so I can see at least giving this one a chance, but yeah I watch it for while on HBO and for the 30 minutes I watched I only laughed one time, and it wasn't even much of a laugh. Watched Beerfest on HBO recently too, at least that movie was good enough to watch the whole thing.

have you actually watched both movies or no, if not then that statement really isn't worth much, there is certainly a TON of good jokes you could make about the movie 300, so its entirely possible that the movie is good, but who knows if you ain't seen it?

also, the earlier parts of that movie are WWAYY bettr than the later parts of the movie.

so consider yourself lucky you turned it off after 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes of Meet the Spartans I had enough. Haven't seen Epic Movie, but I think I'll just pass on it.

I usually enjoy those types of movies. Airplane!, Spaceballs, etc are all very good movies, but Meet the Spartans just sucked so hard it's practically brilliant.

I started watching it and couldnt take it after about 20-30 minutes into it. The intro of the 4 character was decent enough, but that was the high point of the entire movie, im guessing.

I switched over to msnbc and started watching the super tuesday coverage, which was more entertaining unfortunately

Scary Movie ONE and Not Another Teen Movie were pretty funny and watchable for me as new-age spoofs.

I'd rather watch disconnected MadTV skits than Meet the Spartans. At least MTV skits often deliver.

Speaking of which, Amazon Women on the Moon is a rather disconnected movie that would fit your MadTV description. Decent movie worthy of a watching if you haven't seen it.
