Not funny. Took ballz to get up in front of the media like that when you know you have such a stuttering problem.

I laughed but I really did feel bad for him. He's got a speech problem and he's being interviewed for the first time in front of cameras and media, so naturally he's incredibly nervous and he ends up sounding like that. At least he's very polite, unlike a lot of jackasses who take questions after a game.

So? He's on TV and you're not. Pissed?

He's got a contract that pays him $$$ to have fun playing ball, and you don't. Pissed?

He stutters, and you don't. Pissed?

Best two out of three wins.

I feel sorry for the guy, who is trying despite his disablilty. Whats next, you going to laugh at the person in the wheelchair trying to make it up stairs or something?

Agreed. Not funny at all. I'm a pretty good speaker and public speaking has been an integral part of my job for the past 10 years... and I STILL don't enjoy it. It took guts to get up there knowing he would fall on his face. He seems like a very polite gentleman. A rarity in the NFL. And stuttering or not, at least I can fucking understand him.

Can't believe how many people are laughing about this on the net (not referring to this thread.)

A google shows a sh!tload of sites and forums etc ripping him as stupid etc.

People like this get laughed since childhood, but now he's made an nfl team after being drafted in the 7th round, and had a great first game in his first opportunity. I certainly don't pity him, he's an overcomer. Atleast he can afford a speech therapist now.

Another player who grew up with a stuttering problem was Bo Jackson. If anything, I pity the fools who laughed at him.

I love this guy -- he is going to be a real player in a couple years once he gets used to the speed of the NFL. I do have to wonder though, WTF DOES WVU TEACH THEIR SCHOOL? Not to compare the two, but between Lankster and Pacman "I don't see nothing wrong with being in the scripp club" Jones, I have to wonder what they teach at that university.

Stuttering is a serious problem that affects a lot of people who have no way to fix it..that said it's hard to not laugh.

To bad none of them are smart enough to spell his name right. ;)
