Can someone who owns this board please comment on the packaging? My box came totally unsealed and the board itself was in an unsealed bag.. well sealed with a piece of tape, but nothing that would ensure this was actually a new item. Is this normal? I wouldn't worry so much but it's also missing the i/o shield.

If that's normal packaging I'm wondering if maybe it would be easier to get a new shield from Gigabyte instead of having to return the board for a replacement..big pain. If it's not normal packaging then it's going back for sure.
 
Yeah. that's how mine came, but I got it from Fry's, where they put plastic straps around it. But yeah, unsealed, Normally they don't have the plastic straps.
