Hi all, my first post. Try to take it easy on me.

I just bought two 256M sticks of micron ram and I tried to put it into my EP-8KTA3PRO mobo but when I started up my computer, the bios only detected one of the ram sticks, win2k also said the same thing. I've tried different slot combination and nothing seems to work.

Any comments or answers are welcomed.

What is your BIOS?? latest? standard boxed BIOS??

what ARE the slot combos you have tried? is it just 2 sticks of 256 or is there more RAM on top of those 2?

what are your bank interleave settings? are they both double sided or is one or both single sided?
