EOS Digital Rebel

I swear, the more I take pictures with this camera I swear it's nearly impossible to take a bad picture.

I took this picture yesterday while driving (there was no traffic). To boot, my windshield was very dirty (the picture was taken through it). So I'm going about 57 MPH, holding the camera with one hand, and since I have the battery pack attached, it weighs about 5 pounds. I snap off three pictures, they all turned out well but this one looked the best.

Resized (original dimensions were 3072x2048)
Widescreen (for you widescreen junkies, shows more detail)

It's pretty easy, but answer the poll if you think it's a sunrise or sunset.

Cute baby, but thats' not really a very good picture IMO.. It is blurry.

The underexposed shadows are more in focus than the bright areas... It's not very visually appealing I don't think...

Just constructive critisizm. 😉 Maybe you did that on purpose, and I've completely missed the real point of the picture.

It's pretty much one of the best cameras you can buy, or the best pick that is...

First shot looks like something out of Far Cry...

🙂

So are you complimenting the camera? Or the graphics in far cry? 😉

I love my DRebel as well.

I happened by the Costco the other day and they had the DRebelXT there. I honestly can say that I just don't like the feel of it. I have pretty large hands, so the original fits me perfectly. The new one is just too small.

Now I just need to pick up a good 300mm lens.

agreed. http://www.aphexii.com/pics/riley1.jpg

Awesome pics

Yeah I know my picture isn't fantastic, I just thought it turned out very well considering the circumstances in which it was taken. I've taken better pictures, but I was standing still and had time to set up the shot. 😛

300.

Also, the sun is setting in the picture. 🙂

nah, it's just harder to fsck up a good picture with a dreb, not harder to take a bad picture.

Which lens? One that came w/ the rebel?

No, I was using a 300mm lense at the time, which made it even heavier :Q.
